Hand Walk to Push Up

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

None

STARTING POSITION

Push Up Position/p>

PROCEDURE

  1. Bend over at waist and walk hands out into a pushup position.
  2. Keeping knees straight, walk feet towards hands.
  3. When stretch is felt, walk hands back out and perform a push-up.
  4. Repeat for the suggested number of repetitions.

COACHING KEYS

  • Keep legs straight.
  • Walk hands out overhead farther to make it more challenging.
  • Keep abs tight.
  • Perform a half push up if you can't perform a full one.

YOU SHOULD FEEL IT

Stretching hamstrings and in the chest, triceps and shoulders..
