Ski Your Way to Better Health

The November issue of the Harvard Men’s Health Watch reports that vitamins do not reduce cancer risk and heart disease, but exercise may be able to do what they can’t. “Studies show that active people are less likely to develop colon cancer than sedentary individuals, and that women who exercise can reduce their breast cancer risk,” the report stated. “Current evidence suggests that exercise may be a crucial weapon in reducing the risk of some cancers.” What does that mean for you? Grab your skis and make some tracks to start reducing your risk for diseases like cancer and heart disease today!
