Internal Rotation-Band

Equipment Needed

Resistance Band

Starting Position

While standing secure one end of the band and hold the other end in one hand.

Procedure

  1. Stand sideways with the resisted hand on the same side as the band's attachment point.
  2. Bend your elbow to 90 degrees and rotate your arm so the hand moves into the body.
  3. Return to the starting position.

Coaching Keys

  • Keep your shoulders down and relaxed.
  • If there is a lot of space between your elbow and the side of your torso, roll up a towel and place it in the space between elbow and body.
