Equipment Needed
Medicine Ball
Starting Position
Find the appropriately weighted medicine ball.
Put your arms in the air, holding medicine ball overhead.
Procedure
- Make sure to keep your arms back and overhead.
- Step out and perform a lunge.
- Rotate your torso towards the leg that is out in front of the body.
- Rotate back to center.
- Push upward with the front leg and bring the feet together.
- Repeat with the other side.
Coaching Keys
- Keep the pressure on the heel of the front legs foot.
- When the arms are overhead, keep the elbows in line with your ears.
- Initiate the rotation with your torso and not your arms.

In your thighs, core and shoulders.
