Seated Twist

Equipment Needed

None

Starting Position

Sitting on floor.

Procedure

  1. Seated with one leg straight in front, cross the other leg over with the knee bent.
  2. Hook the opposite elbow over the top knee.
  3. Rotate the spine toward the side of the top leg.
  4. Turn your head as far as is comfortable to the same direction.
  5. Repeat with the other side.

Coaching Keys

  • Try not to round your back.
  • Keep your chest up as far as you can

In your lower to mid-back and hips

Improves rotational flexibility.
