Equipment Needed
Yoga Strap or Towel
Starting Position
Lying on a the floor.
Procedure
- Wrap the yoga strap or towel around the base of your foot.
- Lift the leg into the air and straighten it.
- When you feel "moderate discomfort" in the hamstring muscles hold for the suggested amount of time.
Coaching Keys
- Keep your back flat.
- As you feel the stretch release, straighten the leg a little more.
- Keep a very slight bend to your knee.

Improves hamstring flexibility and helps prevent ski related injuries.
