Fit Ball Squat and Squeeze

Equipment Needed
Fit Ball
Small Beach Ball
Starting Position
Find the correct size Fit Ball. Place the ball against a wall and then the small of your back against the ball.
Place the beach ball between your knees
Procedure
- Bring your feet out in front of your body, two to three feet.
- Lower your body until the thighs are parallel with the floor, making sure to squeeze the beach ball between your knees.
- Push upward through the heels of your feet, your quads, and hips until you reach the starting position.
- Repeat for the suggested number of repetitions.
Coaching Keys
- When squatting down, make sure that your knees do not travel too far over your feet. If this is the case, move your feet forward.
- Push through the heels of your feet on the upward portion of the movement.

- Squeeze the beach ball between your legs throughout the movement.

In your quadricpes, hips and inner thigh muscles.
Exercise Purpose
Improves overall lower body strength, specifically around the knee. This helps increase skiing stability and the ability to hold an edge.
