Starting Position

Standing

Procedure

  1. Lift right knee to chest and grab below knee with hands.
  2. Pull right knee to chest while contracting left glute.
  3. Step forward and repeat to other side.
  4. Continue for recommended number of repetitions.
  5. Push through your heels and drive upward to the starting position and repeat.

Coaching Keys

  • Keep your chest up.
  • Contract the glute of the leg you are standing on.
  • Keep the abdominals tight.

You Should Feel it...

Stretching the glute and hamstring of front leg and hip flexor of back leg.

Exercise Purpose

Improves overall flexibility.
